And whoever is pissed about it I'm going to send them the highlights to this game. That **** was unbelievable. We're not beating these guys without a top 8 QB. It's just not happening. pscottdai Posted January 24, 2022 Share Posted January 24, 2022 (edited) And further, both QBs played great but neither made amazing, "WOW!" throws. This game was all about playing well, reading the defense, going through progressions, extending plays (in the case of Allen) and primarily the WRs getting open and making the catches. Bring either of them here and they are not doing that with the crap we have at WR. I am all for upgrading Baker (although I still think he can be plenty serviceable), but until we improve our WRs it is pointless. Vikings passing offense was 30th in attempts 23rd in Yards 14th in TDs 5th in INTs Browns passing offense was 28th in attempts 24th in Yards 13th in TDs 5th in INTs Vikings offense had Theilen and Diggs as the WRs that year as well… so a healthy baker in a Stefanski passing offense, is just as good as a healthy Cousins. ’19 Vikings had the 11th DVOA passing attack and ‘20 Browns and the 10th DVOA passing attack.
