They have to improve their pass D, it will come back to hurt them. That’s the larger point as teams key in on what Wilson is doing and they force Seattle to beat them on the ground. The chance of getting a impact player are going out the window real fast unless Wilson get hurt. and the valve of the pick will be no more than a high second round pick. How does a first round pick have the value of a high 2nd? Sea looks good but they have been really healthy to start. The injury bug seems to finally be hitting them with Carson and Adams getting banged up. They couldn't stay healthy all season. You can get an impact player anywhere in round 1. You can get an impact player anywhere in round 1. It is all about odds you have a much better chance of getting a impact player in the first fifteen picks in the first round. Of course you could get a super star in the latter rounds but the odds are against you. Look at all our picks over the last several years after our early first round picks most of them all sucked except for Maye. At this point though we need to be more focused on what we can realistically get for Sam if we end up picking 1. Even though he’s looked bad the price for a young QB with experience and some of his good tape is still a late 1. It can be done. If it’s a team in the top 10 you’re likely asking for this year and next years 2s and this years 3.
