Definitely but it’s crazy cause he’s night and day in terms of playing downhill vs playing in coverage.

I agree.    He gave up a huge 1st down today in the 4th.  You basically need to have Adams as a monster/joker back in addition to a 4 man secondary.

Basically but then you really expose yourself against the run with 6 DBs on the field. They’re in a weird spot. They have to utilize him to his strengths because they gave up so much for him but at the same time that isn’t how they play defense.

  • 4 weeks later...

This Seahawk team is near impossible to figure out there first eight games their defense  was real bad they won because of Wilson WAS putting up points, now the last seven games their defense look like the 86 CHICAGO BEARS,  Their O line is one of the week points of their team yet with Wilson they keep winning. Wilson is not running much for yards but he runs around the offensive backfield like Fran Tarkenton. Bottom line Wilson is killing us from getting a better first round pick we got in the Adams trade. We are already a lock not to have a top 20 pick and it could get a lot worst.

Carlos Dunlap improved their pass rush, which is the key to their defense. They're probably drawing the Rams in the Wildcard round who they just beat and I trust Wilson more than Goff so they'll likely win again.

More bad news, when the Seahawks play the Rams Sunday, The Rams will be without Goff, kupp, Akers, and Henerson. Looks like the Seahawks will get that 12 win. That kills us from getting a top 25 pick, with the first round pick we got in the Adams trade.

we have been snake bit all season.

Well it did get a lot worst, that comeback win by the Seahawks yesterday just dropped us down five spots in the first round with the pick we got from Seattle. Right now we are projected to have the twenty six pick in the first round, but if Seattle wins just one playoff game we will drop further down the draft order. What else could go wrong this year the defensive is horrible, the QB situation is a mess, the offensive still suck EVEN with a much improved offensive line led by Becton, and of course our miserable coaching staff.  And lets not forgot our ownership group, the trust fund kids will be united again when Woody comes back in a couple of weeks, I can't wait for that to happen.

I think we all anticipated the Seahawks would be a playoff team and by all accounts they should beat the Rams with no Goff this weekend so it’s going to be late this first round pick so no point getting upset over it now. Just have to hope we can get a difference maker.

How come Jamal has made no noise about getting paid this year then?! Clearly wasn’t about money.

Also he’s dropped off a cliff in terms of publicity....once the star of a NY based team who were shockingly bad and yet still constantly on NFL broadcasts/advertisements etc. Now he’s playing for a top playoff team and funnily enough haven’t seen his face or heard his voice.

Surprised he let his ego take a back seat and go to Seattle where he knew he’d play second fiddle to Russell Wilson. Also he’s no Richard Sherman who had that tv made personality.

What pick do we get if Seattle loses?  I assume that can change if certain teams lose but what are we looking at 20-22 vs 26 or later if they win?

As I mentioned above. 19th is the lowest playoff spot but 20th is the Seahawks' lowest playoff spot if everything goes against them.   If there is a mixed result for this weekend then you look at records and SOS of losers to secure the new 6 spots.
