THE DUKE Posted December 12, 2018 Share Posted December 12, 2018 The older I get the more and more I am a sap for the movie Love, Actually. It is one of the best mixes of popular music and original score interwoven into a movie's plot that I can think of. And it has to be one of the best casting director jobs in movie history. It's just loaded with stars before they were stars along with a good amount of stars at the time as well. Now I remember why I didn't pay to see it in theaters. I also watched Peppermint yesterday, it was alright, but there were some "WTF?" story moments that I still can't wrap my head around. You could literally drive a semi truck through the plot holes in this movie, that's how glaringly obvious and bad they were, without going into spoilers. That's what I though too. The Santa Clause but more 2018 and less 90s. I'm not that into watching all the Christmas movies but saw it on Netflix and thought there's no way I'm going skip watching Kurt Russell as Santa.
