Or have the ball pop up and get intercepted?? Plain and simple Dak made the wrong read. Get it through your heads, the guy was double covered. That means 2 Cleveland players were covering 1 Cowboys player. Before Cooper stopped the route, guess what happened first?? Exactly, Dak made the wrong read I'd even take it a step further, on his thread the needle TD to Cooper in the 1st quarter. A pump fake and that safety bites just like he did. Then toss it over the top to Cooper for an uncontested TD. They abandoned the run after the 2 fumbles. That's when the game got away from Dallas. The Oline did better in the 2nd half. Having Knight replace Steele brought some form of stability to the line. Which is good. Also the team playing Wilson instead of Thompson also got better play.
