I guarantee when word got out about the Milwaukee trade that other teams reached out and said they'd offer him A LOT more money, so he backed out. They don't have a starting caliber SG right now and they needed wings even before Klay got hurt. They can take on Eric Gordon but do you really want the next three years of his contract after this year. JJ Redick could also be another option gives you shooting, but can you leave him out there in the 4th qtr with 5 minutes left and trust him on defense. Best case might be getting Avery Bradley on the MLE and then using the trade exception on kelly oubre who then can come off the bench.
