Typically we'd make up for that with our crazy home court advantage. But a weak roster with no true star talent, no fans at games, and our best player quitting half way through the season was a perfect storm for us to be terrible this year. Sure, that's all fine, we obviously know coach k isn't a bad coach but point is to give duke a pass for being bad because they're dealing with the same environment as literally everyone else is ignoring the reality of what youre saying, the team isn't good and that also falls on coach k, too. Yes it 100% falls on Coach K and his recruiting strategy. The reason we don't have any good upperclassman players is because we've went all in on the one-n-done model. We have almost an entirely new team/rotation every year. We sucked this season because we missed on all of the top recruits from the 2020 class. Getting 1 more win gets them out of the 1st 4 in. Michigan rematch would be fun to watch so I'm hoping they can beat Maryland. Whatever they end up, 9, 10, 11, 12... That's gonna be a tough early draw. Like most the middle of the pack B1G teams this year, when Sparty is on, they look like they could play with anyone.
