Chicago knew that Cook was getting the ball, they were set up to sell out for the run. Let Cousins run a bootleg and try and get Rudolph in the flat for the first down. If the play isn’t there, Cousins just slides down and takes the “sack”. Clock keeps moving. They didn’t seem too interested in a FG, so any loss of yards by Cousins wouldn’t have mattered.
