Also was curious how guys like Bulaga, trio of LBs for the Raiders, and Calais Campbell were doing

With regard to the LBs at the Raiders Nick Kwiatkoski has been the standout, missed a couple weeks with injury but has really played well and marshalled the D. It's noticeable when he's not in there. Littleton had been a major disappointment, struggled in coverage and seems lost at times. His tackling has been really poor also which was a surprise. McMillan has hardly played with us mostly using 2 LBs and Morrow playing over him. Looks like a solid tackler but he really hasn't had opportunity.

As for best FA addition, probably Hopkins or Diggs as they've helped their QBs so much.

Coaching wise it’s Brandon Staley DC of the Rams. This Rams defense is playing lights out.

Player wise it’s Hopkins. Murray is playing like an MVP candidate and the Cards are in the division and playoff race because Hopkins is that big of a difference maker. He left Houston and they are a mess.

Considering cost to acquire or just flat out most impact? Hopkins is probably the answer to both.

Though the homer in me sees how terrible our run defense has been since Calais Campbell went out where we’ve gone from best DVOA run defense in the league to back to back weeks of pathetic run defense. This kind of makes me want to say Campbell for a 5th was obviously worth it.
