Maybe the parade of OCs and Head Coaches he had before should have made him throw down field more and had more faith in him to do it. He's had some insanely conservative HCs and OCs throughout his career if you think about it. Or given him better weapons. Very, very few QBs would succeed in that situation. I think he had to learn 3 different systems in his first 3 years or something crazy like that. He has stability and weapons now.
