Interesting article that should be read, suggests this could be the last year for either Brady or Belichick in New England.

Nothing good ever comes from Owners calling the shots.

Any of you guys do Vegas for March Madness?

I’ve been in Vegas during the second week of the tournament and it was awesome, and I’m not even a college basketball fan.

Vegas on a football Sunday is also pretty awesome. Jerseys from every team float around every sportsbook and bar.

I’ve done opening weekend the past 2 years and am again this year. I’m also not a big college hoops fan but it’s a full blown marathon of booze and fatigue. Figure if any of you guys were gonna be there could put some faces to names though.

Ouch. Just got a text from a buddy. He tried to buy a truck online, fell for some eBay scam.

Moron bought $3000 worth of eBay gift cards to pay for the truck and "eBay's insurance." Worst part, the truck wasn't even on eBay... it was listed on craigslist. Why the eff would eBay insure anything THEY DON'T SELL!?!

I never understand how some people fall for these scams, i take reports for them ALL the time.  The most common one is they pretend to be the irs saying you owe X amount of money and you have to pay it back or they will get a warrant.  But then they ask for you to buy X amount of money in Apple iTunes gift cards and then give them the serial numbers.  WHY WOULD THE IRS WANT APPLE ITUNES GIFT CARDS???  THINK PEOPLE!  WITH YOUR BRAIN!

Personal trainers and nutritionists vs team trainers and nutritionists have been a major dividing issue in locker rooms for decades.

It crops up with mega successful established wealthy athletes find something that works for them and want to use it exclusively. They usually can because they are who they are.  Why monkey with something that is working or piss them off or mess with them mentally?

But in ultra competitive world of sports other athletes want to copy what is working for best, so personal trainer gains more clients.  However, Team/owner/coach/gm is invested in their team program and wants everybody on same page doing same things with same solutions.  They are also control freaks by nature.

This was a thing with Michael Jordan and a number of baseball players too whose names I forget.  You going to tell Jordan he has to work out one way and eat these things?  With his contract coming up?  Unless you are owner its more likely that you will be fired.  Basketball has a number of gurus who work with players.   Same with baseball.

Offseason voluntary workout programs vs personal workout programs used to be in news every year in 90s.  Chris Carter used to get a lot of flak for it with some gym he was running in offseason.  A bunch of Miami guys used to work out together in FL and that was always a big deal to coaches who wanted them nearby and media who covered it
