Playing better than the biggest dumpster fire in the league? Sure but no D coordinator can make this group average. We have zero talent and haven’t for a decade. I have said it since we traded Mack. Gruden and his ego is going to hold the defense back. He needs to succeed with his offense. To the point where, I wouldn't be mad if we traded for a DL, signed one in FA, and drafted one. A bad DL ruins everything else. Besides FS, I'm fine rolling with Johnson/Arnette/Mullen at corner next year and our current LBs. But the DL and BOTH safety positions need to be looked at heavily.
