stl4life07 Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 The Nets shouldve won this game had they fouled Sexton in OT up 3pts. That was a rookie head coach mistake by Nash. The one thing I was curious about was in regulation when Sexton fouled Kyrie, why didnt Kyrie go to the foul line to shoot free throws? Anyways, when a team scores 145pts you tip your cap to them but thats what its going to take to beat the Nets. Its going to take the team having a great offensive performance. What I love about the Nets is in a 7 game series, can you bank on a team having 4 great offensive performances? Like I know KD, Kyrie, and Harden at least two of them will come out and have easy 30+ performance nights. Tonight Harris didnt even shoot the 3 ball extremely well like he normally does. If he did the Nets wouldve won in regulation. So its going to be interesting moving forward but the Nets defensively isnt going to be a masterpiece but we know they can make enough stops like they did tonight to erase a 14pt lead. Its just the little things like not fouling Sexton up 3pts that cost them the win. But great game for the Cavs, lets run it back on Friday.
