I barely survived the purge circa 2000-2003 with Thome, Manny, Omar, and company, but this is probably going to ice it for me.

And considering he's setting himself up to be the "hero" of the story in the mainstream media and doing it to make millions in merchandise, rebranding, etc. and purely for those reasons, while setting this city/fanbase up to be the villains...pardon me if I don't see through this blatantly transparent façade.

We didn't do away with the Domino Theory until Vietnamization circa 1972-1975 under Nixon. We actually implemented it under Truman in 1950 via Korea...then doubled down on it under LBJ circa 1964-1968 in Vietnam.

Obviously you don't know history...Columbus thought he had landed in the Indies, thus he referred to them as "Indians'...And obviously you don't understand that not all of us are part of a "sovereign nation", so we don't necessarily adhere to their way of thinking....

Actually didn't end until the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1980's...Remember the US armed the Mujahedeen freedom fighters in Afghanistan....

I beg your pardon, but our new Vice President is considered the first "Asian" American to hold the office of vice president, because her family  came from India....India is not far from Afghanistan....

I have numerous native American friends who have absolutely no issue with any teams names having those references.    One of my best friends, a full blooded Navajo, told me he didnt know a single fellow Native Amercian who was offended by the Washington Football Teams old name   He said he only heard one or two people at his office that were offended by it, and they were both white girls 😂.  Its primarily just a bunch of professionally offended Twitter junkies getting offended on someone elses behalf, as always.

Go watch the movie "Demolition Man" with Sly Stallone and Snipes.    That movie has gotten a lot of attention the last 5 years because thats the type of society we are heading towards.    Cant hurt anyones feelings or its a crime.    Thats the Participation Trophy Generation, for ya.
