Now that y'all have the #1 overall pick, what are you expecting to happen to Minshew?

Cut? Traded? backup? etc.

With Mike Glennon a veteran backup and so many QB needy teams.. seems like the Jags would try and trade him to a QB needy team for a 4th rounder or something.

Theres absolutely 0 reason to cut him unless he is a total bonehead and is a distraction. he's crazy cheap and has starting experience.

We'd trade him if the price is right but I doubt anyone ponies up a 4th anyways

Lol the overthrow he had wasn’t even an overthrow. The receiver stopped his route.

Probably not ideal to make the big man turn his shoulders towards the defender but yea, interesting that he'd sit on a route that far downfield. If he kept going he'd have no one around for like 15-20 yards

Feel bad for Fields, but this should shut up everyone who argues we might consider not taking Trevor.

The good 'ole Alabama buzzsaw is getting him.

I still love him as a prospect, but yeah, as I've said all along Lawrence is just on a different level.

Also feels like everything that came out surrounding last week’s game suggests that that was their National Championship. All that talk about how they felt disrespected and wanted revenge, then reports after the game that Day had them practicing concepts all year that he refused to put in game until they played Clemson. If the team didn’t have their best game of the year, that would have been more concerning than the hype generated from the game they did have.

Now it’s back to earth.
