famousj
Here is a trade scenario to mull over. Jets trade #23 and 2nd round pick for Deshaun Watson then Jets trade #2 with Lions for #7, 2nd round pick and 2022 1st round Jets pick Patrick Surtain II at #7. Sam Darnold can be traded but could still be kept to be the backup.

Watson would prob cost us AT LEAST both our 1st round picks (#2 and #23). We arent the team to trade for Watson. Chicago has the most reason to try and swing a trade. Same with Carolina or Washington. Chicago, Carolina, Washington, and Oakland are the teams that make the most sense (teams on the verge of being great but missing a competent qb). Dr.O
Kendrick Bourne looks like a real possibility now

That oversimplifying the Saleh connection, we aren't going to rely on their third WR to step in as our WR1. We should be looking at guys like A-Rob, Golladay, Godwin... true #1 WR's. That's what we're missing.
KingOfNewYork
49ers free agent list isn't appealing to me at all honestly.

We have players to fill the role he'd be in here is my point.

Verrett looked solid this year, I've always been a fan of him but he's never been able to stay healthy. Same with Tartt too who is a thumper. I was thinking in tandem, but yeah our own guys (especially Maye) should be priority. Warner is a FA the year after.
KimuraGod
Hope we make a splash like that first year/second year with Rex. Good players at the right cost. Jimmy Leonard, Bart Scott, Santonio Holmes, Antonio Cromartie, LT etc. Don’t want to throw money at the wrong players but my god we need a boost and big time change and personally I hope we are active and aggressive this FA. We have the cash to do it.
KimuraGod
Would we take Sherm?! Great player to help out all these young talented (inexperienced) DB’s we have.
Bobby816
Schefter seems to think we stick with Darnold and try and field offers for the 2nd pick. Not against this at all. Trade back with ATL possibly. That should cost them their 2nd and 3rd along with 4th pick. At 4 we can still draft Smith more than likely (if MIA drafts him, draft Chase or Sewell). And that gives us for the rest of the 1st 4 rounds picks at 23, 34, 35, 66, 68, 86 and 97. We can get A LOT of talent with that amount of early picks.
