Rocket City Trash Pandas @ South Africa Woolly Mammoths

Both of these teams got taken apart by much superior teams in week 1. But who is better between them?

For SA, i really like their offense

You got Tom Brady, and this stud

Josh Jacobs [1 GS]: 25 carries for 152 yards (6.08 YPC, 30 LNG), 2 touchdowns

I feel like Tanny isnt going to be very good in the sim, and CMCs absence irl may hurt him here.

Tanny is passing against Gilmore and Peters, which doesnt bode well.

Robinson is very good, but look at these pathetic 2nd and 3rd WR stats.

Corey Davis vs Peters is going to be a disaster.

Corey Davis [1 GS]: 1 reception for 16 yards (16.00 YPR, 16 LNG), 0 touchdowns.
D.J. Moore [1 GS]: 0 receptions for 0 yards (0.00 YPR, 0 LNG), 0 touchdowns.

Also, i dont trust Winfield yet as a starting safety.

If something is going to doom SA, its their offensive line play. RC has a lot of talent in their front 7, and they could get to Brady a lot here.

However, i dont see it being anything close to the deciding factor.

prediction:

SA wins 34-13

Another week, another controversial ELO

RANK TEAM ELO WINS LOSSES CHANGE
1 Norway Knights 1,655 2 0 +13
2 Egypt Starfalls 1,615 2 0 +10
3 Rio de Janeiro Pirates 1,591 2 0 +6
4 Chicago Fire 1,568 1 1 +18
5 ReykjavĂk Direwolves 1,562 2 0 +19
6 Scranton Papermakers 1,539 2 0 +12
7 Phoenix Rattlers 1,536 1 1 +12
8 Rocket City Trash Pandas 1,522 1 1 +31
9 Hanoi Viet Kongs 1,519 1 1 +14
10 Miami Sharks 1,501 1 1 +14
11 Tacoma Thunder 1,496 1 1 -6
12 Freiburg Venom 1,484 1 1 -14
13 South Africa Woolly Mammoths 1,484 0 2 -31
14 Pittsburgh Punishers 1,442 0 2 -18
15 Antarctica Penguin Poppers 1,429 0 2 -19
16 Anchorage Moose 1,427 1 1 -13
17 Indianapolis Predators 1,422 0 2 -10
18 Little Rock Uni Royals 1,417 1 1 -12
19 Richmond Flying Squirrels 1,409 1 1 -12
20 Lancaster Fighting Amish 1,382 0 2 -14

For the most part, the top 10 teams won and the bottom 10 teams lost - meaning there isn't a ton of shake up. Mammoths were looking overranked to start and are falling quickly. Probably the same for the Punishers and Poppers to a lesser extent.

RANK DIVISION ELO WINS LOSSES CHANGE
1 Blue 7,562 6 4 +0
2 Red 7,539 5 5 -5
3 Yellow 7,472 4 6 -3
4 Green 7,427 5 5 +8

Divisions not showing a ton of change this week, with all of the divisions either going 3-2 or 2-3 and lots of inner division games netting out to zero

@RandyMossIsBoss my son ggs. Come sit on papas lap and tell me my child! What you did wrong.

Good game. Offense has to get it going. Watson did not feast and that’s alarming. But boy my defense came in with that WWF ATTITUDE ERA!

BROTHER AARON DONALD(STONE COLD) took a chair to HERBETS SKULL!

watch out for rack here....a ridiculous efficiency rating for a 1-1 team

Yeah if my team can keep playing more like week 2 than week 1 I'm pretty content. I'm glad Le'Veon looked better this week too. My main resource when choosing players was their past season's NSFL performance and he was good last year. Getting some good play out of Clowney and Campbell on defense too. I think if the next two weeks look this good I'll be breathing a little easier.
