Maybe you don't remember that Reggie White did the same thing for Green Bay only more so.

Before he got there, the Packers were playing half their home games in Milwaukee County Stadium. The Lombardi days were 25 years in the rear view and Green Bay was a town where no one, least of all any player of color, wanted to go. If you acted like Lambeau Field was some legendary place to be, the way it's played up now, people would laugh in your face. It's conceivable that without him and Favre, Green Bay wouldn't have a franchise now. When White signed, it was the official signal for the league that it was ok to go play there.

That’s the thing at least the Packers had the Lombardi days. The Saints had no days. Yes they had good years before Brees but they literally only won one playoff game in franchise history before Brees.

But at least New Orleans wasn't Green Bay. During the 70's and 80's both were doormat franchises (except the Saints from the late 80's to early 90's), but no one wanted to go to the Packers.

How about these offseason additions in 1 offseason:

  • Javon Walker - 6 year, $55 million

  • Kwame Harris - 3 year, $16 million

  • Deangelo HAll - 7 year, $70 million for a 2nd+5th rnd pick

  • Gibril Wilson - 6 year, $39 million

Combined they started 41 games for the Raiders and played in 49 ....

We also re-signed tommy Kelly for $50 million that offseason, but at least he started for 5 years or something like that.

Michael Bennett going to Seattle was arguably the best piece they acquired that allowed that defense to truly become elite. Him and Avril both signing there became Seattle's pass rush which fed that secondary.

This one really took a toll on the Tampa Bay fanbase because he had just broken out to become something and they let him go.  Most likely was because of Schiano as I don't think they had the greatest relationship  R.I.P

As other have already said, it's Drew and it's not even close.

For Philly, Malcolm Jenkins maybe? Six years of being a leader, never missing a game, playing at a high level, and being an every-down player. I mean, does Philly win the ship if Jenkins doesn't KO Brandin Cooks and lock down James White?

Two words for Eagles fans: "For who, for what???"

Seriously though I'd go Troy Vincent or Jon Runyan who played there 9 years starting every game.
