cp0k2
Idk man, I've seen much worse not get a suspension. Runyan's explanation could open up a can of worms; seems like there's a hit that can fall under that description every game.
Xmad
He was fined for it before so the next step is to suspend him.
RuskieTitan
That appeared to be a good forced turnover but the suspension is for the result, rather than the play at hand.
vike daddy
Sendejo has been a good to sometimes very good player for us, but his downfall is he hits too hard. sometimes his own teammates by mistake.
Small Town Values
Shoulder to head. I'm fine with the decision.

Of course it is. Playing the results is a regular occurrence. Appeal this suspension NFLPA.
vike daddy
Vikings safety Andrew Sendejo lost his appeal today and will be suspended for Sunday’s game against the Browns. Former NFL linebacker Derrick Brooks heard Sendejo’s appeal and decided the suspension was justified. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/10/24/andrew-sendejo-loses-appeal-suspended-on-sunday/
SemperFeist
While I didn’t believe the hit warranted a flag, or a suspension, the suspension wasn’t for this hit alone. Sendejo is a repeat offender, and he needs to learn to play with more control.

joru1000
Glad. Andrew can't tackle. He closes his eyes and turns his body a bit and just hopes for the best. Usually he's hitting his own teammates.
cddolphin
Dat late flag It's hard out there for defenders. First guy to the ball had him wrapped up. Second guy should be coming in hot to club the ball or put a helmet on the ball. Was it a perfect form tackle? No. But when you're already accelerating and dropping your shoulder, and the WR is also falling down, mis-hits will happen. Not sure this was fine or suspension worthy. The Gnat
I don't have an issue with a fine, I think the suspension is a bit odd for it. Especially with Burfict's play against the Steelers. Seems like very disproportionate response in terms of that.
DawgX
No worries, Vikings fans. You play us this week so you'll be totally fine without him.

Not sure it was suspension-worthy either. But it may have been an accumulation of previous events and this one was the last straw As far as the late flag, remember that the crew on the field is in communication with the guys in New York and the refs may have gotten a message from them. There are also medical spotters up in the box looking for concussions and they too are in communication with the Refs Its not a good look to drop the flag so long after the play is over. And I agree with your comments above, its really really hard to play defense at full speed and not have these mis-hits. But the League wants offense because offense lights up the cash box. So the NFL defenders ( and fans) have to accept the unfairness of it all. And each year the league comes up with even more rules/protections for the offense and they will continue to do so to protect their revenue flow Defense wins Championships, but it doesn't do squat for ratings and revenue
Thomas5737
The late flag was really silly because it was inspired by the injury which almost certainly occurred because Wallace hit the back of his head against the turf, the easiest way to become concussed. He led with the shoulder and looks like most of the contact was with Wallace's shoulder but I'm sure there was some helmet contact and he did lower his head so a flag/punishment is understandable. If there weren't a history I'd lean against a flag or punishment but if he plays reckless they do need to try to reel him in.
