    • The Browns
    • The Chiefs. Did you forget that it's Week 1? They're 1-20-1 in Week 1 since the return.

    • Who cares? Our head coach is an absolute salt and pepper FOX.

Going forward, special teams has me really conceded as a whole. Kicking, punting, punt units, kickoff units. Every single area had some shakiness happen at some point.

Higgins didn’t play again. DPJ barely played.

Mack Wilson sucks and Anthony Walker looks slow (but physical).

I want to know why Higgins didn’t play

I think attitude can make all the difference in the world.

In this case, it's a double whammy that favors us.

Our attitude: We owe them one.

Their attitude: Browns can't beat us.

Can make all the difference.

So that’s why we’ve been losing week one all these years, to give us an edge…

Lucky for us the rest of the league hasn’t caught on to this obvious competitive advantage.

Non sequitur. But then again you do sometimes seem to have a problem with context and logic.

Pretty sure 90% or more of this forum is against your "Baker tried to play hero ball" and lost the game for us take. So complaining about someone else not admitting they're wrong when the vast majority doesn't think they're wrong is kind of annoying to listen to.

Never said or implied that.

How did you reach that conclusion?

It was a contributing factor for sure.

But you and others reading things into that accurate take are the problem.

The first step in solving a problem is recognizing that it exists.

The second is in accurately and completely defining it.

Sounds to me like you and some others (maybe just you and LGB, dnk who you supposedly speak for) need to work on the first and second steps.

Btw, more than a little irrational.

Do you have other problems like this in your life?

"And tried a hero play when he had a clear path to run to a first down."

No one else believes any part of your statement so I don't know why you want someone else to admit they are wrong about disagreeing with your opinion which seems like a bad opinion.

Baker was pretty much flawless all game. Had some amazing throws. Played hard, made blocks and was not a contributing factor of why we lost but the main reason why we were in the game. Sure 0 TD and 1 int but he drove the field for Landry and Chubb to score on the ground. Yeah he made a bad throw at the end as he was hit as he was throwing but he put us in a position that we should have never been behind late in the game. Some bad defense, a couple bad turnovers and poor pass rush defense in the 2nd half are much more the reason we lost and yet you put a significant amount of blame on Baker for an unfortunate throw where he was hit as he was getting rid of the ball in a game that shouldn't have been on the line anyway.

He also didn't have a clear path to a 1st or he would have taken it. It was 1st down so there was no need to do anything risky like running with it anyway, unless there was a clear path, which there wasn't. You throw the football away and go back the next play, it was just unfortunate he got hit as he threw the ball.

For it being his 1st game, I didn't notice Newsome at all. Very postive sign.

Surprised how much we used Schwatz without seeing him in the preseason, but we aren't in Berea everyday. Coaches must have seen enough to make him a focal point this week.

Sucked to lose, but won't lose sleep for how we played. Fumbles will happen, but we cannot muff snap from the long snapper.

Other than the Bengals game last year, that's the most accurate i've seen Baker play/throw. He didn't leave any WR's high and dry acoss the middle or throw into any double coverages.
