Packers TE Martellus Bennett to retire at the end of the season

Bennett had a much better career than I expected him to have when the Cowboys first drafted him.  He used to drop a lot of passes, but things seemed to change when he signed with the Giants.  Became much more consistent and eventually proved to be a great blocker and a go to option in the passing game for a number of teams.  I thought it was a great signing by Green Bay when they picked him up in the offseason.  Wish him nothing but the best in his life after football

I doubt Michael Bennett retires. He still has a lot left in the tank IMO.

Martellus Bennett used to be a beanpole when Dallas took him outta Texas A&M. Went from a receiving TE to a blocking TE after drastically changing his body. Always thought he was underrated. Very rarely do players change their play style the way Bennett did. It's almost like what Le'Veon Bell did, just on a lesser scale...and he did the vice versa weight gain as opposed to Bell's loss.
