SemperFeist
If Darrisaw is even remotely familiar with the playbook, he needs to start.
Nozizaki
It is at least nice to have a must win game at home against an 0-4 team. Feels like a get right spot where the Lions should let the Vikings run and pass pretty freely. The Lions have also turned the ball over 5 times already this season.
JDBrocks
I don't think this will be an easy game. The Lions have played really well in spurts and have their backs against the wall the same way that the Vikings do. I think the Vikings will win, but it won't be comfortable. Cephus and Hockenson are nice players, and Swift has been a nice receiving option out of the backfield. Hopefully everyone is healthy, Darrisaw plays, and this is a get right game to get them on track.
vikingsrule
This is a must win game and should be a very telling one. If Mn is to have any chance at the playoff, they need to win comfortably. Dropping to 1-4 is likely a death sentence. NFC West is stacked with potential playoff teams and MN isn’t catching GB at 1-4.
vikesfan89
Obviously this is a must win. I think they will but they can't make dumb mistakes. How is the lions D-line?
SemperFeist
This needs to be the game where the Vikings come out pissed off and with a chip on their shoulder. Gain some confidence, and put some good things on film.

How is the lions D-line? Romeo Okwara was having a nice season, but tore his achilles... I hate seeing guys get hurt, but he was a nice piece for them. Brockers and Trey Flowers are still good DL for them, though. Nothing like we watched yesterday, though.
JDBrocks
The Vikings receivers should have a field day, too. The Lions DB depth is abysmal.
viking
Mikes March of Mediocrity continues Vs the Lions Lose against strong opponents and beat up on the weaker ones
JDBrocks
This is good news. EDIT: question - have I missed it, or have they moved almost entirely away from the double A gap look that they were using when the D was at it's peak? Haven’t seen it much this year. They seem limited with Vigil in at LB. He’s solid in coverage, but not much else.
vikesfan89
I have an uneasy feeling that Barr is going to look like half the player that he once was. I wouldn't hate them starting him out as the 3rd linebacker in base until he shows that he's ready for more. Idk maybe half of Barrs regular self is still better than Vigil
SteelKing728
I think the Vikings win this one but I have my doubts that this is the game that puts us on the right track/gets us hot. Beating a good team might but Detroit isn't really that good. They are just competitive.
