I know and I get it, I'm just underwhelmed in a part of the calendar year where I'm usually hyper/excited lol

I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't make the 53 man out of camp Yeah he really adds nothing and I’m a ND fan lmao. It’s like the bears find an okay, semi-established WR in the NFL, realize it would take too much to get him so they sign their sh***ier brother at the same position. Nads786
I get this is a reset year but I would like us to give Justin Fields a chance to develop. We need to really find more OL and WRs.

I had this thought about 20 mins ago. Nobody knows ESB better than Getsy, and Rodgers is notorious for ignoring dudes he doesn't like. I loved ESB coming out and had a 2nd round grade on him. So I'm definitely interested to see if there is something there we haven't seen yet.

I think watching him you wonder why he didn't get the ball more...he is obviously a huge target but he is also very fast & fluid...I wonder how much the success of his brother has also helped Getsy & Co think he could be more than we saw in GB...still a #4 right now IMO but the upside is clear.

St. Brown isn't a finished product. Doesn't mean he'll ever amount to anything, but he could certainly contribute more than he has in the past. (Especially getting more targets.) 29 minutes ago, G08 said: I dunno man... I feel like this team is shaping up to be incredibly boring this season. I disagree. I like a team vision instead of managerial flailing about, 21 minutes ago, abstract_thought said: There are a lot of veterans getting cut as teams recycle money and try to take advantage of the giant cap hike. You can sign a few of them as splash moves. The rest can be depth FAs who don't make enough to qualify for draft compensation. Bears aren't trying to compete in 2022. They're starting a rebuild where virtually nothing is settled. It's probably better for them to bottom out and accumulate picks. Bears were inevitably going to pay the cost for Pace leveraging the future. Better to pay it all now in a meaningless season than to pay any part of it in Fields' 3rd and 4th years. You're not wrong. But the Bears may well be better than last year. 16 minutes ago, G08 said: I know and I get it, I'm just underwhelmed in a part of the calendar year where I'm usually hyper/excited lol I'm the most excited I've been in a long time. 3 minutes ago, Nads786 said: I get this is a reset year but I would like us to give Justin Fields a chance to develop. Here's a thought, Rodgers #1 WR, OC, QB coach, and OL coach couldn't get away from him fast enough. Maybe Rodgers is the problem.
Madmike90
Watson down to just ATL & NO...I feel this is head vs. heart...he probably wants to go back home and have an entire team built around him in ATL but at the same time knows the Saits have way more talent right now. What if Poles doesn’t believe in Justin. These moves seem like a complete tank let’s get the first pick in the 2023 draft.
