Madmike90
Justin Jones seems to have a lot of traits...6'2" 309lbs...33 1/2" arms...10" hands make up for that relatively short stature...5.09 in the forty...29" vertical...24 reps on the bench press and still only 25 years old...just need to hope he can stay healthy...his 18 QB pressures is still more than Hicks had last year. Looks like he brings some special teams experience too. Really wish we could have kept Ben Mason to try and have a bruising FB.

CBears019
Has this been the craziest offseason in the NFL history? At least in recent memory? - Sean Payton retires - After over a year of speculation, Rodgers returns to the Pack with a massive deal - Russ traded to the Broncos - Wentz (somehow) gets traded again - Brady retires - Brady unretires - Kahlil Mack traded - Devonte Adams traded - Watson cleared of criminal charges -Baker demands trade, is told no - Watson traded to browns, baker told yes …and I’m sure I’m missing more. And we’re not even a week into the new league year.

abstract_thought
5 hours ago, AZBearsFan said: Fields should certainly be better, and maybe a lot better which on its own would make a gigantic difference. If we’re talking 2021 to 2022 Bears, Pringle was more productive in 2021 than Allen Robinson was, on less targets, and will now see an expanded role while still not facing the opponent’s #1 corner. Not saying he’ll be better than 2018-20 Robinson, but better than last year’s version? Not a stretch at all. Expecting Mooney and Kmet to have at least some growth going from year 2 to 3 isn’t at all unrealistic. Patrick is a clear upgrade over Mustipher. Goodwin/Byrd/Grant had 55/782/4 combined last year as our WR3/4, including a handful of games with WR2 reps with Robinson out injured. A R2 rookie may approach that by themselves. Oh, and the whole getting rid of the HC/play caller who had no idea what he was doing thing. Sounds exactly like how they’ve built the offense for the last 4-5 seasons. Bears should be fine, then.
Madmike90
Looking at the current depth chart it is clear on Offence just for our starting line up we are still missing at least a WR & OT/OG…on Defence though the concern is even higher…the front six looks pretty good with a lot of younger athletic players but that back five is a disaster…we need a starting CB, NB & S and that is before we look at the bang average depth…I think we still need 7-8 FA signings to feel comfortable in having some options when the draft comes around. There is still a lot of work to do. WR: Keenan Cole OG: Ryan Bates OT: Dennis Kelly NB: CB: S: Positions we need starting level players at. But with comp picks out the window this should be easier to accomplish.
