There was an interview with one of his position coaches that said they chose to keep him inside to move around as a chess piece but he absolutely had the ability to play outside. I thought the same thing until his RAS score came out. He actually grades better as an outside corner than a nickel. I just think he’s a freak athlete in general who can truly be put anywhere. I will kind of be shocked if we don't trade down from one of 31 or 63 though.
Beck Bristow
I feel like we're all getting used to day three Curtis Brooks and he's going to end up in the third round.
THE DUKE
Speaking of day 3 Curtis Brooks, here is on PFF, one of probably many mocks I will do today: Trade 31 to Seattle for 40 and 72 40. Travis Jones, DT, UConn 63. Nick Cross, S, Maryland 72. Marcus Jones, CB/KR/PR, Houston 95. Zyon McCollum, CB, Sam Houston State 136. Daniel Bellinger, TE, San Diego State 174. Curtis Brooks, DT, Cincinnati 209. Chris Paul, OL, Tulsa 226. Isaiah Weston, WR, Northern Iowa 252. Jack Coan, QB, Notre Dame

Crazy that I'm cool with that late of an offensive lineman while the locked on guys are still desperate for Linderbaum in round one. Also, no idea why I'm excited, I don't expect to draft today. I'll be perfectly happy with either of Linerbaum or Zion at 31, but i'm not pounding the table for it.

I dont think Zion is there at this point. I would be ok with Linderbaum as it truly upgrades the O line across the board. But we have bigger holes at CB and D line I think. So I would like to focus on those positions over C at this point. Now if we get Elam and Jurgens is there at 63, why not.

sparky151
IMO we don't need to draft an O-lineman at all. We could upgrade our starter at LG from Carman or our backup center from Hill. The first would take a high pick, the second a mid-round pick. But we could also just re-sign Spain as insurance for LG and go into the season in good shape. Secondary, WR, and TE are bigger needs in my view.
