BlaqOptic
This move feels perfect. Cooper has never really been a "scary" WR to me though he is a No. 1 in this league. At the same time, he's a perfect style WR for Baker.
seminoles1
Cooper is fine, but feel like he's no longer the #1. Lamb is cheaper and just as talented. Utilize that money elsewhere as opposed to potentially a #2. This saves Dallas a lot of money. Would have expected a higher pick, but getting off the whole contract is worth a round lower of a pick IMO.
AkronsWitness
However, I can 100% get behind a Garrett Wilson + Amari Cooper combo. Let's do that.

Obviously you can't cut him because of his dead money number, which might drive his value down and maybe other teams simply do not want to pay for a declining RB. They don't really save any money even in a trade. Like 500k

But why are we the worst team in the entire league when it comes to trades?!? That Herschel Walker trade was a blessing and a curse.

Because it wouldn’t save them any money. He has an awful contract. They could get out from under it next year, and if they’re smart, they’ll do it. That’s a big if though. His first seven seasons are HoF worthy.

People think Ceedee Lamb is better than he really is right now. Maybe he makes a year 3 jump, but yeah Cooper drew a lot of coverage away for him.
