This is just me, but I felt like as Matthews aged he'd have been more valuable as an ILB who slid out to the edge on passing downs, maybe Walker gets a role like that

Yep. Walker doesn't play heavy downhill but he's a plus guy in space. That trait is what makes an ILB in the 1st round defensible. He'll be an every down player and a pest in coverage. He'll impact the game.
