Jake Brendel was the starter for the 49ers all last season at center and is a FA. Ethan Pocic from Cleveland is the top rated FA at the position. Daniel Brunskill is also a former 49er OL who's a free agent.

Probably head the FA route with C. Especially to have the presence next to Green

Yeah - ok, my mind has been changed. Let’s bring in a FA!

Pocic would be a excellent center for you guys.

The idea that you can draft stoudt plus the kid out of Tcu should be a excellent building block for the offense.

There us going to be some excellent value in the 2nd round would not hurt to trade up with your 3s to start building front back middle out.

Prediction you guys hit this draft right you win more games then Cleveland this year.Tuesday Morning Dog GIF by Sealed With A GIF

One thing we have not considered is that Ryans is a big time Bama guy. Could impact who he wants to draft.

I’ve put a lot of thought into this - the odds that Ryans knows Anderson personally is pretty high. Both former Team Captains, both OLBs (Ryans moved to MLB in the NFL) both highly decorated and lauded for their leadership…

I would not be surprised if Anderson has Ryan’s’ personal number and if they text regularly.

Ouch... d@mmit Nick

This wasn’t Nick - the violation happened in 2020 (COVID season) while Nick was in New England. This was the former VP of Football Ops. Securing and approving that membership was on Jack Easterby’s plate per the court documents submitted by Tony Buzbee in relation to the sexual misconduct cases Watson was facing (because, y’know… that was the scene of alleged crimes committed by Watson):

Roland Ramirez, Director of Player Care & Sports Medicine for the Houston Texans, admitted to the Houston Police Department that he and Jack Easterby, Executive Vice President of Football Operations, helped secure a membership at the Houstonian for Watson.

Then Nick didn't do a good enough job pinning the blame on Easterbunny..

You know who was good at blaming others and setting them up?

This guy....

I think the Texans want this to go away ASAP… because this “violation” does coincide with a lot of shady behavior from that QB, and the “off the books” nature of the membership does lead to a lot of questions on what Easterby knew (and why he wouldn’t report this on anything that can be traced back to the organization…)

Nothing concrete, but you have to wonder. You don’t want to give Tony Buzbee a reason to depose somebody in the name of reopening a criminal case, because the Texans could be implicated in a capacity.
