Using the HoF monitor from PFR, as one example:

Philip Rivers - 98.06 (14th among QBs)

Tony Romo - 45.78 (57th among QBs)

Kirk Cousins - 43.54 (63rd among QBs)

What legitimate argument is there?  Phil Simms won a Super Bowl and has a higher monitor rating than Kirk and he never sniffed the HoF.  Joe Flacco won a Super Bowl and has a higher monitor rating than Kirk and will never sniff the HoF.

Sorry, I'll get back to the topic at hand now.

Im not sure what PFR is or how it works so I can't really comment on or about that one way or another so please excuse my ignorance there however Flacco was never a good QB he has a total of 3 seasons where he had atleast a 2:1 TD/INT ratio, he is in the same category as a Brad Johnson.  KC is miles ahead of him(Flacco) and if that rating you used says differently then its a junk statistic that holds no real weight.

Phil Simms also is no where near the passer KC is, the guys you're trying to compare him to just aren't comparable because they're completely different.  Would Simms be a HOF QB if his completion pct was 11 points higher? 2 time SB champ & a career 55.4% passer compared to KC's 66.8.   Simms also ended his career with a little over 33k yards, KC is already over 37K & by the time his career is over should be well over 45k, if he keeps his current production(granted there could be a decline) he could reach 50k yards in 4 seasons, add a SB championship & I just don't see how he's not.

Now I will also add Simms was before my time so maybe there's something there that the Stats just aren't telling but when watching older games Simms just never sticks out to me like that amazing passer to me he is a lot more Joe Flacco than he is Kirk Cousins

Once again though what legitimate argument is there?

Edit: This is my last response to this here I just didn't know how to transfer the conversation to another topic, sorry for the inconvenience

Is this your projection?  What did the Vikings give up to move up?

Probably #23, #87, and '24 1st round pick.

If thats the cost sign me up.  But then again I'd be okay with a lot of different directions.  Personal preference is to still fill the team out this year and go all in next year but just give me all the chaos
