  1. 1. What should the Packers do about their defensive coordinator?

    • Fire MLF, he hired him
    • Fire Joe Barry immediately and get somebody who will play aggressive defense
    • MLF should lay down the law with Barry to stop playing not to lose, get aggressive
    • Ride it out and see what happens this season then make a decision
    • Joe Barry is great

We're stuck with Barry for the rest of this year....then we'll see. I wonder what LeFleur's excuse will be this year if he does not fire him.  Consistency and continuity did not work out well for him this year. LaFleur needs to become more of a head coach and not an offensive coordinator.

I'll give Barry this: Our secondary yesterday was made of up a bunch of players that would not start for most NFL teams. I think that is why he played zone almost exclusively against a very good Buc's receiving core. We did not match up well with that individual talent. I don't know what to say about the inside linebackers however...especially Campbell. In this game, he looked like his career is finished. He's never been a tough guy, however in this game he looks as though he has lost all the explosion and speed he came into the league with.

All the more reason to be super aggressive on defense then.  If you are undermanned you have to come up with some ways to cause the opposing QB issues.  Bump and run coverage .. disguised blitzes.  We saw none of that from Barry .. made life incredibly easy for the Bucs offense.

3 pm presser for LaFleur today.  We should know something soon enough.  I bet Barry finishes out the season, and then is let go a day or two after.

hmmm???  was this previously scheduled?  maybe the axe will indeed fall.  Let Jaire coordinate the D.
