Pels need BI. CJ is not a player that you can rely on in crunch time. He folds like a cheap suite. Zion can’t just do everything

They just came off of a 7 game win streak without him. They definitely do need him for when these games get close agreed, teams just load up on Zion and refs are afraid to call whistles in crunch time unless you're the Jazz.

Utah are a bunch of flopping ******* straight up

It’s tough to watch. Kelly Olynyk legit tosses his head back before he even makes contact with dudes. Refs bought that trash all night though so hard to blame them.

The refs in that game were atrocious, but the Jazz just own us. Theyve owned us for years. Just hope we avoid them in playoffs 😂

They're a bad matchup for us but we haven't even played them fully healthy yet and 2 of the games were OT games. Any team that can space the floor and go 4 or 5 out without sacrificing too much size (otherwise Zion will dominate) is gonna be our nightmare in a playoff scenario. Utah is one of those teams cuz they were going Clarkson/Conley or Beasley/Lauri/Olynyk/Kessler for most of the 4th and OT and that lineup has the size needed to guard Zion about as well as you can ask for (helps when you can foul him every drive) but spreads the floor and draws our big guys out of the paint, which we can do with a Zion/Nance frontcourt but we were pretty bad in this series about securing defensive rebounds and that's part of why. One of our greatest strengths is rebounding and the way they play can neutralize it. Them, the Warriors if they decide to start playing like the Warriors, the Celtics. Those are worst kind of matchups for us.

Vaughn almost blew us the game with the rotations. Barnes keeps getting to the basket and yet Claxton who’s blocking everything is nowhere to be seen on the floor while Royce is giving you nothing. No resistance at the rim in that 4th Q. Also Claxton was making his FTs so no reason he should be sitting extensively.

Yeah but at the same time the Nets were down 18 on the road and come from behind to win with its star making clutch shots and passes. The Nets need games like this that builds chemistry and confidence that they are never out of a game and can come from behind to win. Games like this will help them in the playoffs.
