Since he absolutely did not want to go into the HoF the same year as Brady and not be the headliner. That's why they started trying to figure out how to shop him. Isn't this basically what every NFL player means when they talk about "this is a business"? Like it's not surprising in a vacuum that any player does not play their entire career for one team.
