brooks1957
Browns designated C Ethan Pocic to return from IR this morning. He probably plays vs. the Saints. I think this was an Andrew Berry move at his finest. I think he is our rock in the middle for many years to come. https://brownswire.usatoday.com/2022/12/20/browns-ethan-pocic-saints-ir-return/
DawgX
Good. He's been missed. Hopefully the OL will start to return to form as it's been pretty bad since Pocic has been gone.

Thank god, Foholdt has been abysmal.
BetterCallSaul
That is legitimately huge. Although, nothing is "huge" anymore, because we suck and are out of the playoffs. That said, Pocic was very good this year. I was worried about C and he immediately killed those concerns.

If they can go on a run to end this season with Watson I think it changed the perception of the season and the team as you head through the off-season. Nothing will salvage the missed opportunities, but it reframes how people view the team headed into 2023.
Bucketheadsdad
This is awesome news. I've done the "playoff machine" a few times. We're not totally out of this thing yet. Damn near, but not quite yet. Win out, and we've got a shot at the team taking a visit to either KC or Buffalo.
dawgdish
Hope he picks up where he left off & we make re-signing him an offseason priority

With no first rounders, this team has no reason to tank. Win as many games as possible.

Think I'd rather go with Pocic, but it will depend on what kind of contract he's expecting.

It’s just hard to get excited about anything with the season shrouded in disappointment.

He is a short fat fullback nothing more Edited December 20, 2022 by Kiwibrown
Kiwibrown
I think Pocic stays on a middle class contract and not a top 5 contract. 3 years 24 million not 4 years 45 million. If he wants to try free agencey morenpower to him.
DaWg_LB.
I think the decision has been made, somebody like Houston or Jax is going to give him a top 5 contract...I could see Houston taking a QB#1, a top OT to go along with Tunnsil and signing Pocic.....that would give them a QB and Oline ready to rock and roll...
Kiwibrown
it would cost about 16 million to franchise. that aint an option Edited December 21, 2022 by Kiwibrown
