Aaron Rodgers intends to play for the Jets

I disagree. The Jets could just draft a QB. The chances GB is willing to keep Rodgers, regardless of the cap costs, is slim to none. There isnt a single other team interested in trading for Rodgrts according to reports. That in itself kills the leverage GB thinks they have.

Agreed, the Jets could easily grab a QB in the draft if GB is too stubborn to work out a deal with no leverage. This would likely either lead to Rodgers creating a circus so large it becomes a major distraction to the team, or they are forced to released him with no compensation in return. Especially with the reports that Love would request a trade if he doesn't play this year. There is just no good angle for the Packers to dig their heels in on the Rodgers situation.

Throwing lots of shade at the Packers franchise about how they handle their vets.

Rodgers doing this?  If so, no surprise.  Accountability and self-awareness were never his strong traits.

Good luck moving forward with Levis or RIchardson in a win-now year.

Don’t think it needs to be one of them. A guy like Hooker would be an instant upgrade to Zach Wilson. With the amount of talent the Jets have at their skill positions, it wouldn’t take much from their QB to put them in a position to make the playoffs.
