Not horrible for the Falcons but probably not what i would expect to happen.  I like Skoronski alot but to me their is a very little chance of us taking a LG at 8 over a Edge Rusher, a CB, or the #1 player in the draft from our own state and a huge fan favorite in Carter.  With D-line still being our #1 priority lol.

Carter, Wilson, Spoon, Murphy, Van Ness, Robinson, or Kancey i could also see us going after over a LG that early.

I would go

8 - Carter - Only 1 guy in this draft i would ever take over Carter at 8 and thats Anderson.

2nd - Fau, Ade, Forbes, and maybe Ringo not sure on him.

Kansas City Chiefs: Dawand Jones, Rashee Rice

Dawand Jones is not suitable for the Chiefs pass oriented system. Look at their FA losses and signings. Orlando Brown out and Jawaan Taylor in. Mauch would be better than Jones, but go with one of the Edge.
Rice is fine if the go Edge or DT at #31. If not then they need to at #63.

Sorry about that I build it out on Numbers (Mac's Excel) and then copy paste the charts.

I was taking the Athletic's report that the Falcons aren't interested. When I think of the Falcons as an outsider trading for Lamar or taking Jalen Carter makes a lot of sense. If neither then Bijan looks appealing potentially. I saw a lot against all three of those moves, so I came up with an option that made sense to me as a build around Desmond Ridder slant. Jake Matthews is 31 and on a pretty good contract at like 19mil per, but if he falls off suddenly to age Skoronski would be able to slide over. Matthews, Skoronski, Dalman, Lindstrom, McGary looks pretty good to me and gives insurance. The other option I like a lot for Atlanta is Nolan Smith, but he isn't available in this mock.

I don't get why Mauch would be better than Jones. The Chiefs signed Jawaan Taylor to play LT and Dawand Jones is a natural right tackle with power that fits what's being done on their line. Dawand Jones was a good pass blocker at The Ohio State as well with 0 sacks surrendered this year with only 5 hurries over 14 games. He has extremely long arms at 36" and a Jordan Mailata-esque freakish size. Both Jones, Harrison, and Wright I would consider over him and all are gone in the mock. I view Charles Omenihu as a starter and Lucas Niang as less so for the Edge v. RT debate.  I took Rice as a Juju like possession option as MVS, Toney and Moore are more flashy big play types and Rice would be a nice reliable possession option behind Kelce in the pass game. I agree an EDGE is probably on deck for the third round in this scenario, or they could bring back Frank Clark on a way cheaper deal.

It's early for Kincaid, but I really like him. I would be happy walking away with those two for Washington.

When I was making this and Washington was on the clock, I really liked Jack Campbell for them and tried to think of a trade down into the lower first for him (since Ron has reached on off ball LB in the first before), but after deciding against that I tried to think of what would be best. I liked the idea of Josh Downs back with Howell, but Washington doesn't have a need with Samuel and Dyami behind McLaurin and Dotson. When I was thinking about the potential of Terry / Dotson / Downs I realized Kincaid's skillset compliments them probably better and replaces Logan Thomas who is always hurt. One small trade back that makes sense to me would be Washington and Tampa trade, and the results are the same but Tampa selects their LT before the Steelers have the option to take him.

Nolan Smith at 6 is a little rich for me.

He's my favorite. If the Lions take him you'll fall in love with who he is as a leader and motivator. He's all in all in and I'd imagine the Lions would use him modeled off how the Eagles used Haason Reddick to lead the league in sacks last year. I am very confident he's going a lot higher than most predict based off how great he comes across in interviews, how prepared he is and how he understands the game paired with that athleticism he showed at the combine 41.5" vert 4.39 40 and he was a top HS recruit out of IMG. I'm not afraid of counting stats being less pop off the page after the entire stacked Georgia defense eating their share and all going high. He's also so far off his injury it shouldn't be any issue to his pro career. He's the Edge/LB versatile player that can do what Khalil Mack did with the Raiders and would let Aaron Glenn go really versatile with his fronts. The secondary was addressed over and over in FA which makes a Gonzalez/Witherspoon pick not likely to me unless they are completely off Okudah.  My selecting him that high wasn't intended as a slight against Detroit, I am that high on him.

The Eagles aren't taking Bijan at 10

The future Eagles poster to write this hasn't yet, but I get it. He's also a top five prospect and you let Miles Sanders go to Carolina. Both All Pro corners were retained. Bijan would allow a legit receiving threat to compliment AJ DeVonta and Goedert. He'd take a lot of the burden off Hurts for short yardage to attempt to keep your future 200mil QB healthier. I think it makes sense.

Seahawks get Will Anderson and Jalen Carter lol

Someone eventually will post or think this as well, and I think teams will be actually scared of whats gone down this offseason and with his limiting to top 10 teams if he starts slipping to 9 it's Eagles choice to let him really slide or a top ten team makes a move back up to the last team before them to pass. That's Seahawks or Lions to me, and I have the Seahawks being the team to pull the trigger trying to make a line of DreMont, Reed, Carter, Anderson. I think Pete's team has the lockerroom to absorb any issues and the upside of that pairing is worth the swing for them. Lions are a young team with a coach you up to be a dawg mentality that I think the potential of Carter as a superstar talent with motivation or bad boy issues could disrupt. That's why I have Lions going for Kancey for a similar fit but later and not investing the resources.

Lucas Niang was the starting RT in September. He had a serious injury so they played all year with his backup at RT. What they need is a developmental player, such as Mauch, who can back up both ends of the line. Anton Harrison is another example. My question is why more mocks don't give D Jones to Dallas?

Pass rush is a priority. TE if the value is there.

5 centers in round 2 is insane and unprecedented. 6 were drafted last year total! In the past 15 years, the most taken in a single round ever was 3, and that happened 3 times. That stood out to me in your mock draft.

That's probably fair, but I think the two I'm potentially "too early" on are Olusegun and Stromberg and each of them have arguments. I think JMS, Wypler, and Tippman are favorites to go in the second.

Dallas has Tyron Smith under contract still, but other than that Tyler Smith last years first and Terrence Steele. I guess they could draft him and put Tyler at LG, Tyron at LT and have Jones compete with Steele until next year when Steele moves on and they make a choice at Tyron or Tyler at LT. I have Mauch as the next pick after Dawand so I'm not arguing the value is wrong, I just felt like Chiefs are wanting a RT with power and length. For the EDGE argument I like Tuli for them, but I think Dawand Jones is more of an impact as Tuli would be rotating with Omenihu whereas Dawand is an every down upgrade.

What are the details on that trade between Chicago and Seattle?

9th -> 20th + 37th
https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp
has the points as 1350 -> 850 + 530 (1380). Could include future picks if balance is off. I have the Bears as wanting Tyree Wilson or Myles Murphy and this allows that plus they get Tuli at 37 to have both ends upgraded from Trevis Gipson and DeMarcus Walker. Bears also get Keeanu Benton in the second here so their 4-3 under defense with Eberflus looks like:

5T: Tuli Tuipolutu
1T: Keeanu Benton
3T: Justin Jones
9T: Myles Murphy

SLB: Jack Sanborn
MLB: Tremaine Edmunds
WLB: TJ Edwards

CB: Jaylon Johnson
CB: Kyler Gordon
FS: Eddie Jackson
SS: Jaquan Brisker

Don't hate it for Tennessee.  Broderick Jones and Paris Johnson are higher on my personal BB than JSN, but I could see the team going that direction.  Avila too.  I'd rather take Darnell Washington there, but Avila makes sense.

I get Mayer at 28, even if I think it's probably option 4 for the Bengals, but a S in rd 2 is atrocious.  They have 3 they like and the 4th is the special teams captain.

Who? I thought Antonio Johnson would be a good compliment to Daxton Hill, but I don't know any of the other Bengals safeties other than Nick Scott from the Rams who just got signed and has an easy out after this year so it's not a commitment large enough to ignore addressing the position to me. Who are the others? Antonio Johnson also played most of his snaps in the slot (Daxton Hill also has a corner past), so they could consider him a slot corner with safety versatility.
