Jerimiah earlier speculated it would be #13 this year, 1st + 3rd next year plus a 1st the following season. Are you doing that for Maye or Daniels? That's the move you make when you're Washington or Minnesota and have a first rounder to spare. It would be 2027 before we had a 1st round pick again, and we have 1st round needs looming to stay competitive. Yay, we'd have Maye or Daniels. Then WAS was criticized for bringing in all 4 top QB's on the same day and wanted them to build chemistry with players on the team. Someone tweeted why would they need to bond with players on a team they will never play for, and supposedly Daniels agent liked that tweet. That's a really bad look for Washington from a group of people you would like to think would know better. On one hand, it looks amateurish and like they don't really have much of a solid plan (which is ok as most teams don't necessarily have a rock solid plan, but don't advertise it). On the other hand, you know you're dealing with a bunch of primadonna divas. It's a job interview, not a private fellating session. But why risk pissing off a prospect before selecting them and having some sort of weird in-house strife with someone that os clearly going to be a diva about it? Seems like a no-win situation if true.
