Well, picking up the phone is nice. Re-working his deal to add more talent would have been nice. Showing up to OTAs and throwing to new, rookie receivers would have been nice. Not choking at home in elimination games would have been nice. Not ignoring the middle of the field would have been nice. Not burning time outs because he can't get out of the huddle on time would have been nice. Not spiking the ball in the dirt at an open receivers feet because they ran a route a half yard too deep would have been nice. Not looking disinterested when the team scores a running touchdown would have been nice. Not taking sacks on 4'th down to preserve your statline would have been nice. Not attacking your front office would have been nice. His schtick in GB got old, really old. He wasn't going to win again here...big time win, like a big playoff game win. He was mentally cashed out. He was all about his stats and less about the team. The change will rejuvenate him for a while. Until it gets cold. Dude hates the cold now. It was time for both to move on. It happens.

Dudes decent mentor for the younger WR room too. It can lead to the playoffs. But make no mistake, he will be one of your worse WR's because he is old, skills have diminished and he will get hurt then injured. Yet he's going to eat snaps. He will be a plus in the WR locker room.

Great locker room guy. Great person, period. But you are paying him because Aaron Rodgers said so. Rooting for Cobb to take as many targets from Wilson as possible. That will only help our first round pick next year.

AFlaccoSeagulls
Randall Cobb owes so much money to Rodgers, because if not for him this dude would've been out of the league like a decade ago.

TheKillerNacho
Jets have an incredibly deep receiving corp, wow. and now Cobb... if Garrett Wilson continues to develop into a true #1 receiver this season, Rodgers will have no shortage of weapons. AFC East is going to be a fun division.
