Austin Bryant and Taco are also getting a lot of love. I think Drake is going to be buried in a rotation

Definitely saw Drake as more of a pass rush specialist type coming out in the draft so I could see Ferrell being a base run down end and Drake doing more of the PR stuff

Chargers = Jamaree Salyer

just for fun, I think Jaelan Phillips is gonna have a monster season too.

He plays Left Guard. He's not going to be a "breakout" player. Because he plays left guard. He's fantastic though. Was awesome at UGA and I was mad the Falcons took Justin Shaffer over him.

Yeah, Salyer was one of the players I couldn't believe the Titans passed on with how badly they needed OLs.  I also wanted them to take Reed Blankenship.  Dang, if JRob just drafted the dudes I wanted that year, he might still have a job.

He must have had rough medicals, because he was a 1st round talent as a guard on film.

Christian Gonzalez, Devon Witherspoon and Will Anderson Jr should all be absolutely outstanding professional players and instant impact starters.

And if Mack or Bosa go down for the Chargers, Tuli Tuipulotu could be a monster edge guy in that 3/4 has great versatility and a big time motor.  And for the Giants John Michael Schmitz really solidifies that OL and could make the unit into one of the better units in the league.

Musgrave or Kraft are going to have a huge year for the Packers, Kraft might get the nod because he is more complete and a tougher player but one of those two should have a huge year at TE for them with the power run game they will have and a mobile QB.

In terms of non rookies Justin Madubuike is a monster and his teammate Travis Jones is outstanding as well.  And for any that do not know, Kyle Hamilton will be and really is one of the best safeties in the league that has super versatility around the line of scrimmage.

And Damien Harris could have a big year, I assume the Bills will get a much needed power run game and he could be a beast in that if he can stay healthy.  They invested big time with bring in the rookie guard Torrence, along with vets Edwards and McGovern to go with already solid starters.

This is what they got in terms of pure depth on the OL and that is pretty solid and they have a variety of options if someone goes down.

Hard for IOLs to break out.  Salyer already picked up a starting spot last season, didn't he?

Yeah, he was a solid Tackle. But I think he's going to an absolute beast at Guard, like Pro-Bowl caliber.

He was a very good tackle as a rookie. Even an All-Pro guard like Chris Lindstrom isn't considered a breakout player. It is what it is. Lindstrom went from above average to arguably the best or 2nd best right guard in the game (With Zach Martin right there at the top if it's not Lindstrom for you). No one considered him a breakout guy.

Maybe to the masses who aren’t as diehard about football as us here because it’s not a sexy position. We can change that narrative here. I will honor all oline breakouts!

Lions- This is hard to do for me with the Lions because I don’t feel like rookies should count, but I feel like all the other guys I’m expecting big things from have already “broke out”.

So if I had to choose….

Rookie: Sam LaPorta, TE second round. Could have picked 3 other rookies as well but he’s shown alot so far and I think he could be the biggest positional upgrade. He’s going to get a lot of reps and have a chance for immediate impact. HM- Jahmyr Gibbs, Brian Branch and Jack Campbell.

Second year player: Jameson Williams, WR first round. Even with a six game suspension to start the season, this is his first time practicing with team in offseason, going through training camp, Lions have said he’ll get a bunch of reps in preseason. I think he has a chance to really break out and arrive in his final 11 games. HM- James Houston and Josh Paschal.

Veteran: Alim McNeill, DT 3rd round. McNeill has played well and carved out a starting role in Detroit since getting drafted in 2021. But he’s not as known outside of Detroit like this draft class mates Penei Sewell and Amon-Ra St. Brown. He’s really gotten in shape this offseason to switch around more inside and open things up. With IDL being Detroits biggest question mark, I think his play will be focused on more and he really has a chance to shine. HM- Tracy Walker

How's Cominsky looking for y'all? I thought he could have been really good here in Atlanta.
