In 2021 he played 16 games. I definitely agree he's bound to get injured and miss some time pretty much almost every year, but the bicep injury this year was just a random injury that can happen to any player. Maddox is a nice slot corner when healthy though. We don't save a lot cutting him and obviously the post June 1st cuts you mentioned can't help us with free agency cause we don't get the money freed up till later in the summer. And, if we cut him normally we only get 2.3 million to put towards our free agent spending and I'm not sure the team will view that as enough to cut him, but who knows.
