He's unathletic, has limited arm strength and really does nothing all that well.  He's a back up on the NFL level.

He looked bad against the Chargers, ok against the Bears and ok today.

The more he plays the more you will see that he is not the answer.

I'm not gonna lie the guy can throw so I'm not too sure about the arm strength one. He's definitely unathletic that goes without saying. What does a player need to be athletic in order to be a franchise quarterback? I'm trying to understand the perspective on that.

Chargers game I understand that but 1. Mcdaniels into he was a rookie quarterback in his first ever NFL start.

The Bears game 1.he came in at the very end of the game the morale was low 2. Mcdaniels

As for the last thing you said, that is very possible.

Look at his college tape.  He was average throughout his career and really does nothing well.  It's pretty clear if you look.

What make you think he is a potential franchise QB other than blind hope?

I am not so much concerned with athletic ability but more so his ability to manipulate the pocket.  It may improve with time but he tends to just drop back and plant until he sees where he wants to go.

Man, the only complaint I have isn't even really a complaint. We left some points on the field and probably should've broken 40.

And that's it.

Is this what it feels like to be the fan of a good team? I like this.

Let's temper expectations here.  We beat up on a Giants team that has checked out and we were on a high with that POS JM now unemployed.  I think the team was pumped not to have that scumbag coaching terribly anymore.

Let's wait to see how we look when we play a contender.

Oh I'm not saying we're a great team.

But we aren't a horrible team like we were with McIdiot. That's progress, even if only incremental in the grand scheme of things.

I agree that they played inspired football today.  It was the first time in a long time which is encouraging.

the deep shot to Tucker, will pay dividends against the Jets.
They have to respect the deep pass.

That D wouldve feasted on Jimmy, they still may feast on Aiden. But Jimmy not cracking 17 points on that D, honestly doubt hed crack 10.
I look forward to seeing the young kid next week, and hope he can continue improving.

Im rooting for him! still eyeing a qb in round 1 at this time, best case AOC looks great, and has trade value

We look like the better team today there's not been a point this season where I could say that(even in the 3 games we won prior to that.

With that being said Aiden O'Connell looks good but realistically he threw for 209 yards with no touchdowns(although there were a lot of dropped passes)

I understand tempering expectations. Nobody is saying we're turning a corner and playoff bound.

But winning has to start somewhere. Unlike the token wins we got under McDoofus, we actually BEAT the opponent in style. That's undeniable progress compared to what we've seen.

This wasn't a lucky break vs a bad opponent like we've seen this year, this was a team playing inspired, good, solid football.

We'll probably only win 2 or 3 more tops, but I'm cool with that if this is what we're getting from an on-field and sideline perspective. Losing a competitive game or to a great opponent, with where we're at, there's no shame in that. What was unacceptable and impossible to get behind were fugly wins against bad opponents that people clung to as if they were some sort of indicator of actual progress- the wins homers like @Justwinning were recently telling me and @Jeremy408 to eat a dck for criticizing.
