The tough part - there aren't a lot of great talents on the DL at the top of the draft.   DL is our biggest need, but we're so talent needy in enough areas that hopefully we don't force a need based pick in R1.   But investing in the DL with youth would be a smart move, and FA (not a great value at the top of the salary market, but in the middle - stopgap <ugh, but for 2024 it works>) should be a priority.   It's fair to say there's only 1 guy on the DL who should be guaranteed a spot (duh, Zach Allen), no one else should be considered as locks to return.   At his salary (and that none of his actual 2024 salary is guaranteed, just the dead money from his original signing bonus), DJ Jones should be a goner.

Yeah they pretty much need a entire overhaul to the DL next off-season. Also it would help if they actually played the high draft picks they do have just for development. We're is Sanders? Moss? I know Moss was banged up but man you gotta have those guys be able to contribute

I don't think this draft is supposed to be strong at the ILB spot either so our options to upgrade our front 7 next year look pretty slim. We'll likely have to go bargain hunting in Free Agency.

ILB you can find some guys at Rd3-5 that work out....but it's definitely not a year where you think the draft can help you for front 7 help, esp with no R2 pick.

Moss at least made it to the field last week (all of 3 snaps but you gotta start somewhere).

The ironic part is our top 3 CB corps is now solid enough Moss might be improving, but won't get more than 4th CB work.  But we should definitely see him out there in those situations.   Something to watch for now that he's active on a regular basis.
