GDT: The End is Near Pt 3: Zeke's Suspension Edition - Boys v Raiders

Game was ugly with a lot of weird things, but I'll guess we'll take the w. Now it's time to bring back zeke and feed that hungry man.

Games today showcased some of the weirdest rules. Like how pi calls can completely change a game. Seems like no penalty should net a team 50+ yards. And the fumble into back of end zone like that is an odd rule for sure.

Someone wanna help me :o

If Tampa wins tomorrow, we need:

  • to win out
  • for Cincinnati and Green Bay to beat Detroit
  • for New Orleans or Carolina to beat Atlanta

Atlanta needs to lose 2 more games. The long shot will be Detroit losing. They have Cincy and GB

Only need Detroit to lose once. To Cincy or GB.

Good news is we got the W, no matter how ugly it was (and it was ugly).  This keeps our playoff chances afloat.

Offense really struggled tonight.  Our run game completely stopped working in the 2nd half and our OL did not block as well as they should have.  Dak had two INTs, but ultimately made a big throw to Dez on the final drive and ultimately played just well enough to win.  I would have liked to go for it on 4th instead of settling for 3.  I would have liked the chances of a 240 lb guy getting a few inches.

Defense did a good job overall tonight.  Only allowed 17 points tonight.

Good news is Zeke is back and if Tyron is OK, our offense will be officially be back at full capacity.  In the meantime, we are all big Bucs fans tomorrow.
