Imagine what the Eagles could have right now if they traded Hurts instead of paying him. They could have CJ Stroud right now and a billion dollars more per year.

With how they run their offense, would they have taken Stroud over Richardson?

Dallas & Philly will come out of this game with identical 10-4 records - "tied" for the NFCE best and having split the season series. Some tiebreaker's gonna put one of them in first.

Philly ends with: SEA, NYG, AZ, NYG and it would be a surprise if they didnt end up 13 or 14 wins.

Dallas ends with: BUF, MIA, DET, WA - which is a bit more competitive.

QB salaries really have gotten out of whack.  You have been championing this for some time and I think you are right.  When a QB takes up such an enormous amount of cap space it really makes it hard to field a championship squad.  That being said if you don't have a decent starting QB you aren't going to win many games.  It's a real conundrum.

So San Fran should win it all this year and they probably will.  Stud QB on a rookie contract.  Hard to pull it off tho.  Yes Stroud is a stud but bust rate for QB's is pretty damn high even if taken in the top 10.  Also usually it takes a few years for them to find their game.  Makes the window pretty small.

What we should do then is let Love ball out.  Not give him a new contract.  Franchise him at the end of next season and then trade him for multiple 1'st round picks and players.  Only problem is again we'd have no QB. Unless of course we'd have a potential franchise QB already in house.  Which we don't.

To pull it off we'd have to be taken QB's in the 1st round every few years.  Always have another guy in reserve.  Dunno man it'd be pretty tough to pull off.

QB's will eventually have their own cap.  It's the most important position in sports... You can't let teams just fall apart because the amount of $$$, but you also don't want to be dumping players every few years to hopefully hit on the next one. The league wants franchise QBs.

I can understand the emotions on the sidelines during/ after the game.  Its a very rare call for offensive offsides.

The post game press conference is really bad.  Im sure KC saw the replay and its clear Toney is lined up offsides.

According to the ref at halftime, it's been a point of emphasis this year and called 11 times - which is a clear increase over years past - so the teams and players know it.

It's one of the most unusual of penalties in so much as the player can actually check with the Ref pre-snap and be told if he's in violation. I cant think of another penalty that's handled like that.
