jrry32
Just now, Thelonebillsfan said: Richardson was a vile, racist *** old man but the checks cleared and he mostly didn't meddle. Tepper thinks he's the President of Football Ops, he's constantly meddling and constantly resetting which is why he had to settle for Canales in the first place. Just keep firing HCs until one sticks.

The success of Sam Darnold this year may be just what he needs to be given another shot, or at least a roster spot.
Thelonebillsfan
I mean not to be mean to the kid but. Young is nowhere near the physical talent that Geno and Darnold are. They have that ability to lean back on and re-develop the other things.
Tony7188
If Bryce Young is done in Carolina, he's the biggest bust ever in the NFL. A codeine addicted Jamarcus Russell was even better than him.
Nex_Gen
Miami needs to give Carolina a call and make them a weird offer. They just need to find the right kind of weird to trigger Tepper's compulsiveness and get him to bite. Young is a better version of Tua anyways and McDaniel could realistically get the best out of him.
Tugboat
They should bring in Timothy Tebow to teach him some more intangibles and throwing mechanics.

SmittyBacall
The worst part about all this is that Stroud has looked incredibly good.

Geno/Baker/Darnold et al demonstrate that fan bases, coaching staff(s), and organizations all give up waaaaay too early on QBs. Rushing them out on the field before they have learned all of the answers within their scheme is entirely preventable. For as unsavory as anything related to the GB Packers is, they have a history spanning different front office personnel of giving young QBs the time they need to learn (even bypassing "present-day" on-the-field help to give the QB that time).

Yeah this is one of the worst thing about the modern NFL to me. QBs these days are written off as busts after two games, whereas many great QBs of the past got more than 5 years to figure it out.
