titans0021
Actually listened to the book a month or so ago before I even knew this was coming out. Pretty excited to see it next week.
Herbie_Hancock
Just got done watching it. Never liked watching scary movies but felt as if this was a must see. I really enjoyed it! Wasn't "scary", but definitely a lot of "holy hell" type moments.

And it is funny. Richie is a straight up baller. Wouldn't surprise me if McLovin is his child. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the kids in the group were cast as Billy Batson in the Shazam movie. RamRod
I hope this does lead to more Stephen King adaptations like some are saying. I'd love to see Salem's Lot on the big screen.
KManX89
I saw it last night, loved it. It was the perfect adaptation/remake in my book, they changed enough from the mini-series to make it interesting, but kept enough in to keep it faithful. And there were definitely some moments that had me shielding my eyes in fear that something was gonna randomly jump out. Also, I reckon we'll see Pennywise's true form in Part 2. . sunnygsm
Not really a horror fan, but I went to watch this. Enjoyed it quite a bit. I liked the theme of the adults being monsters in their own way.

There is a couple of websites have been putting up ideas. Like Jessica Chaistan as Beth. And Jeremy Renner as Ben, I don't think those are bad choices. Giovanni Ribissi as Richie etc.
Non-Issue
I liked it a lot. But I wish it was made into a trilogy. It all felt so rushed. There is so much source material left out.
champ11
I don't usually go to horror movies, but I just thought this was a great movie. I lol'd like at least 7 times. The kids were fantastic
Dome
Just saw it for the second time. Going for the third next week with mother in law and wife. I almost never see movies multiple times in theaters but this one is great. Richie killed it.

As far as who I'd like for the adult castings... Beverly - Jessica Chastain Bill - Joseph Gordon-Levitt Ben - Chris Pratt/Jeremy Renner Richie - Adam Driver Eddie - Jake Gyllenhaal Mike - Mahershala Ali Stan - Oscar Isaac Of course, that's far too many "big names" for one movie. As far as smaller actors go...I've got nothing lol.
O'Doyle Rules
Movie was great, give it a A-. A lot better than most horror movies these days, they need to take notes. I would prefer a unknown cast for the second movie but if not. Beverly- Maggie Gyllenhaal Richie- Jessie Eisenberg Mike- John votes Can't think of the rest.
