Indeed @H2ThaIzzo

Another interesting turn of events.

Likely means it was a compromise struck between McCarthy and the GB Board in that the Board got 1 of their 2 guys in and Rodgers and McCarthy made sure Russ Ball wouldn't be GM.

Things to look out for is will an offer of VP of Player Personnel be extended to Elliot Wolf and appease him to stay in GB.

Seems likely as the only way to keep him in the organization after being spurned for the GM role

If not, Wolf will likely head our way.

There is 1 spot left in the Personnel dept. hiearchy...will it go to Ball or Wolf?

Looks like Ball has lost out big time.

"UPDATE: 1:47 p.m. ET: Per multiple reports, the Packers job is Gutekunst’s alone. Which makes the next set of moves they make involving Ball and Eliot Wolf interesting."

We could be looking at a showdown between the Board of Directors and McCarthy.

Getting rid of Thompson along w/ Wolf would truly put an end to an era.

Will they keep the Wolf legacy in GB?

OTTO just made a thread for this. Try to keep up.

Are you sure?

Not seeing one.

Boy, if we the fans wanted to send a message to the hee haws, FO and coaching, a Sashi parade would do the trick.

It also would put them under a microscope as they line up to take credit for a turnaround in that he set them up so well that it now is their's to lose.

If Aaron Rodgers become available what would we trade for him.

If GB went full tank mode?

The sheer riots...but what would the Browns even begin to offer?  You'd have to imagine that it starts with their pair of 1st round picks and goes from there.

I’m in Wisconsin for work and they are legit worried he’s going to leave for Cleveland. Him highsmith and Dorsey are good friends. Ron wolf was apparently consulting with Dorsey while he was looking for work and told him to take the Cleveland Job during the interview process. This is going off Wisconsin radio though so take it for what it’s worth.

Agree.

We should be holding a parade for Sashi.
