Corey Nelson was the only ILB we had who can cover but let him walk. I've never understood why Vance and Joe Woods are so high on Todd Davis, the guy is a two-down thumper. Now we had to jettison Talib so we could pay future hall of famer Kyle Orton Case Keenum, this team won't be able to cover anything. We already couldn't cover backs or TEs and now we lost our No. 1 outside lockdown CB. But, hey, on the bright side, at least with Orton Keenum we'll be able to watch our offense dink-and-dunk it's way down the field in five yard increments. At the moment we’ve lost 2 free agents and signed 1 so we could get a comp pick but it won’t be an early one since both Stephenson and Nelson signed cheap 1 year deals. When Kubiak was the HC and we brought in a HOU OL and he was awful b4 even as a backup we’d be calling it a terrible move out of nepotism and misguided loyalty then. Was it James Hurst?
