I find the Joe Woods comment funny considering everyone was complaining about the zone coverage in 2015-2016 under Wade. Of all the people you can give heat, Woods is an interesting choice. That's awfully rich and they probably over-paid. I think it's safe to say the Giants are in win-now mode, expect them to take Barkley at No. 2 overall, which all but assured with Cleveland signing Carlos Hyde. Obviously the coaches will want Langley to develop and beat him out but Brock is your veteran insurance. Wouldn’t surprise me if we draft one in the mid rounds as well. He was a pretty solid piece on the Niners D a few years ago. Good in run support. For a 3rd CB on a 1-year deal, you could do a LOT worse. This still keeps CB firmly on the radar for the draft. I mocked La’Adrian Waddle to us and basically said we should sign whichever of their two RTs the Patriots don’t bring back. Fleming is a better player than Waddle so I assumed NE would retain him.
