I realize he may not pull this crap getting to play with a future HOF QB but man, not sure it would be worth the potential headache when he inevitably feels slighted about something. From the team's perspective, this is an easy one. ABs ***** isnt with them - its with the CBA. He wants to take his case to court (so to speak...) let him take it up with the NFLPA and the league. His answers already written in stone. Ain't happening. They grant AB his/this wish - the line goes out the door and around the block of other players who will have similar complaints. If I'm OAK my comment to AB would be get your feet squared away and get into camp. You want to pursue this thing - do it on your own time with the powers that be. I wonder if Hard Knocks wasnt taping OAKs training camp if this would have been an issue - or been pushed to this extreme and/or gone public. Chili Posted August 11, 2019 Share Posted August 11, 2019 It cheeses me off seeing the Browns successfully get a 4th round pick (potentially 3rd) for Duke Johnson who is essentially a 3rd down back. Running backs are dime a dozen and can always find one off the street. If Mike Daniels is an interior pass rush specialist and in a league where the pass rush is highly valued then we should've at least managed to secure a 5/6th round pick. Yeah I know age and contract plays a part in these discussions but surely we could've at least gotten a draft pick. Now I see the Ravens getting a draft pick for a freaking kicker. Annoying isn't it. MacReady Posted August 12, 2019 Share Posted August 12, 2019 Vikings just traded a fifth round pick for a kicker who has never had any regular season attempts. @skibrett15, never even had a regular season attempt. And people will still wonder why I say it's stupid to cut Crosby without a tested replacement. I believe it was last year when everybody was saying we should cut Crosby for Dan Bailey when Crosby had a higher percentage than Bailey both in 2018 and 2017.
