If thats the case, it's not exactly "fine" Change the terms to the actual action sought: kick or receive. Thats it. What do you want to do? Kick or receive? Done. Actually there is because each team gets one option. If you win the coin toss you can defer your option/choice to the second half. If you choose an option after winning the coin toss, the other team gets that choice in the second half. Even if your choice is to kick the ball to start the game. What you are doing if you defer is deferring your option until the second half kick off. It's not rocket science. Yeah i agree with this to " defer " is to put off the decision to me that says the other team can choose.
